Character Creation Challenge, Day 5 of 31
As with yesterday, we'll give AD&D 1e a go again and see what we come up with this time.
We'll keep using Method III from the DMG - roll 3D6 six times for each ability in order, and then use the highest value.
Strength: 14
Intelligence: 12
Wisdom: 15
Dexterity: 14
Constitution: 17
Intelligence: 12
Wisdom: 15
Dexterity: 14
Constitution: 17
Charisma: 16
Let's see what is in and out.
Strength is too low for a monk
Intelligence is too low for a ranger or an illusionist
Wisdom is too high for a half-orc, too low for a ranger or a monk - could be reduced to 14 to be a half-orc though.
Dexterity is too low for a monk or an illusionist
Constitution is great for tanking hits
Charisma is too low for a paladin
I think this sounds like a good candidate to be a half-orc assassin. Taking the racial limits and modifiers gives us:
Strength: 15
Intelligence: 12
Wisdom: 14
Dexterity: 14
Constitution: 18
Charisma: 14 (16)
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Infravision: 60 ft
Speaks: Common, Lawful Evil, Orcish
